Just when we think that we might possibly be able to believe that Mother Nature was in a really good mood this year, she says “just kidding” Albeit, her practical joke wasn’t extreme, and she at least brought us the sun… but the dip in temps, and that little bit of white stuff is reminding us that we probably still have a ways to go before we’re out of the Winter woods!

Selfishly, I don’t mind that much… I mean, I do, but… I’m finding a silver lining. It gave me the perfect opportunity to shoot my favorite Christmas present: this amazing Burberry coat!

It doesn’t get any better than Burberry, when it comes to outerwear. Their iconic trench coats and signature plaid scream classic, timeless, and luxe. Every year they produce the most amazing spins on their classics, constantly recommiting to what they are known for, but bringing us new upgrades that we feel like we just can’t live without.

The jumbo gold hardware, accenting the black wool and red stitching, had me at “hello.” I’m always a sucker for anything oversized, and the drape of this coat screams high-fashion in a very masculine way (another style weakness for me: menswear inspired).

So yes, I’m sick of the cold… I’m tired of the sun not shining… and I’d love to start shedding layers, and soak up that Vitamin D first-hand. My sweaters feel tired; my skinny jeans feel too tight from my body saying “let’s hibernate!”; and my motivation is lacking when it comes to putting together new looks with the same pieces I’ve been wearing for the last 3 months. BUT, it’s all about the little things friends… and my “little thing” that I’m choosing to find joy in today is this coat! 😉

What are you doing to breath life into your Winter wardrobe, while waiting for Spring?
